I started making things a long time ago. When I was in elementary school I would doodle ideas for inventions often. Then, in fourth grade, I read a book on Thomas Edison and said right then and there I wanted to be an inventor*. As I got older, I was told that this was not feasible as a career path and I started looking into other options. Then, as I got older, I decided that was an unacceptable response and started inventing anyway. Studying computer engineering in college, I started acquiring the skills needed to take some of my doodles off the page and into the real world. For me, nothing beats the feeling of taking an idea I had and holding it in my hand. That is the feeling that got me into engineering, circuit design, robotics, 3D printing, and really every form of creation and art I can learn.
