NFC Integrated Door Knob for Automatic Contact Unlocking

As part of the 2022 Makeathon at the University of Michigan, I built a functioning Arduino controlled door lock using an RFID ring that automatically unlocks the doorknob when the ring contacts the doorknob. This prototype was completed in the 36 hour time frame and won me the first place prize of $700 as a freshman.
